WPPI 2022 Wraps Up With Final Day of Show
March 3, 2022
Today marks the final one at WPPI 2022 and while attendees are most likely still recovering from the March 2 Honors of Excellence Awards Ceremony—congrats to all of the award winners, including Rangefinder’s Creator of the Year, Michelle Harris, and WPPI Grand Master Cheryl Walsh—there’s still plenty of classes scheduled for today as WPPI 2022 wraps up. Once again, don’t forget to check out the RF Talks at the Rangefinder Lounge on the show floor in booth 1201. [NOTE: All class times are listed in PST.]
Here are a few of the classes piquing our interest today on the WPPI 2022 class schedule (spots are going fast so scroll down to see what’s still available.)

In-Camera Light Painting: This is Russell Klimas‘ first time speaking at WPPI and he will be teaching how to create light-paint portraits live and in-camera. Tips include the best camera settings and gear for light painting, tools for light painting, and demonstrations of how to light-paint shapes with a model. One of his main goals with this class, he says, is to “spark an interest to learn light painting and hopefully get people as obsessed as I am.”
Time: 3:00-4:30 a.m.| Track: Lighting & Posing | Room: Antigua AB

Perfect Your Posing: Boudoir photographer extraordinaire Jen Rozenbaum teaches attendees how to fix the posing mistakes that are preventing you from taking your photos to the next level. Learn how to flatter women of all body types; how to manipulate the body using poses, lighting and lens choices; and how wardrobe fits into the equation.
Time: 3:00-4:30 p.m.| Track: Lighting & Posing | Room: Montego AF

$8,000 Weddings in a $2,000 Market: Jeff Poole shares his secrets for selling wedding packages averaging $8,000 and more in a middle-income market saturated with small beach elopements and backyard weddings. You will learn how to create a boutique client experience that allows your client to feel pampered; learn how to use multiple touch-points to increase sales; soft sell albums, adding thousands to your bottom line; and build a rock-solid sales system that leaves everyone satisfied.
Time: 3:00-4:30 p.m.| Track: Wedding | Room: St. Thomas AB

Getting Your Weddings Published
Jasmine Norris explains the steps to getting your work noticed and published in magazines. Learn how to curate your wedding submission for the editor’s eye; understand the submission process; how to fit the submission process into your workflow, and how publication can elevate your photography business overall.
Time: 3:00-4:30 p.m.| Track: Wedding | Room: Montego BCDE
