Last year’s concept is now a reality in the form of the Hasselblad 907X 50C. At 1.6 pounds and measuring 4.01 x 3.66 x 3.30 inches, this 50-megapixel model is the smallest of Hasselblad’s medium-format cameras. It utilizes the new 907X camera body with the modernized CFV II 50C digital back. In addition to X System lenses, the 907X body is compatible with other Hasselblad lenses via adapters. Third party adapters and lenses expand the 907X’s optical versatility. Additionally, the CFV II 50C digital back can also be used with most V System cameras from as early as 1957, along with third party technical or view cameras.

The Hasselblad 907X 50C features dual UHS-II SD card slots, a high resolution 3.2-inch 2.36M dot touch and tilt screen, full HD video, Live View, Wi-Fi, USB-C for tethered shooting and more. Optional accessories include a control grip ($729) and optical viewfinder ($499). Ordering is currently available with delivery expected at the end of August for $6,399.
