Photo product releases and updates are definitely picking up lately. Here’s what’s new this week, including launches from Delkin, Tiffen and Panasonic, as well as Fujifilm and Sony firmware updates.
Delkin CFexpress Memory Card Reader

Following up on its recent 2TB Type-B CFexpress card, Delkin has introduced a CFexpress Memory Card Reader. With its USB 3.2 interface, you can offload high-res RAW files, 8K, 6K and 4K videos at speeds up to 10Gbps, providing twice the speed of USB 3.0 devices.
Constructed of anodized aluminum, this compact and rugged card reader is perfect for on-the-go photographers and videographers. Additionally, multiple heat sinks help prevent overheating.
This spring-loaded reader keeps the card safe when inserted and a rubber end cover helps provide protection against dust and other elements. Currently available, the CFexpress Memory Card Reader comes with USB A-to-C and USB C-to-C cables for flexible compatibility.

Panasonic Introduces the LUMIX G100—A Mirrorless Vlogging Camera

Designed for vlogging, blogging and content creation, the 20-megapixel LUMIX G100 offers a long list of appealing practical and creative features. In addition to its compact 4.55 x 3.24 x2.13 inches and weighing just under a pound with the kit 12-32mm lens, the G100 is equipped with a fully articulating touchscreen LCD and a microphone jack.
The G100 is capable of shooting 4K video, of course, and offers a number of functions that makes it easy to compose footage but also to capture video in various aspect ratios for convenience when sharing to social media. These include 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 4:5, 5:4 and 9:16.
What we found most intriguing, though, is its audio features. Using OO Audio by Nokia, the LUMIX G100 is capable of capture spatial audio recording. With five options, the camera’s audio recording can be set to tracking, surround, front mode, back mode and auto to ensure the most targeted audio. The tracking feature, for example, follows the subject’s voice regardless of their position in the frame.

Prices: Available at the end of July, the LUMIX G100 is available in two kits at two different prices: $750 for the G100 with 12-32mm lens, and $800 for the second kit, which also includes a special tripod grip to hold the camera while vlogging. (The grip is also available separately for $100.)
Pre-orders are available at a $50 discount and will include an extra battery and wall charger.
