DNP is rolling out a new line of “Luxury Media” for its  DS620A and DS820A dye-sublimation printers.

The line will consist of Metallic and Silver Pearl media.

According to DNP, the Silver Pearl media was “engineered specifically to enhance the subtleties of portraits” with natural skin tones and softer edges.

Both the Silver Pearl and Metallic papers will be available in 5 x 7-, 6 x 8- and 8 x 12-inch sizes. An 8 x 12-inch roll of either the Silver Pearl or Metallic, good for 110 prints, will cost $220. A 6 x 8-inch roll, which produces 200 prints, will retail for $199. Finally, a 5 x 7-inch roll, good for about 230 prints, retails for $167.
