Tim Dunk

Tim Dunk would describe his style as instinctive and unconventional. “I’m a documentary photographer and I shoot weddings from the inside,” he says. Dunk likes to get close—really close. “If I can’t smell my subjects, then I’m too far away!” he exclaims. A solid sense of humor, he has made certain to aim his lens at colorful characters, light that catches his eye as well as truthful depictions of what has happened on the day. Dunk keeps his editing minimal—he doesn’t like to spend a lot of time in post, save for the straightening of what he calls his “permanently wonky horizons.”
