Motiejus loves shooting in a pure, documentary style and always strives to focus on the memories that people want to look back on. “Weddings, for me, is not about a formula, a set of poses or repeating somebody else’s work,” he explains. “First and foremost, it’s about trying to know and to understand your personality and your quirks as well as to capture and tell the story of people that matter to you.” Over the years, to enhance that story subtly, Motiejus has developed two color and black-and-white presets, which, he says, “give a signature look to my images. And some images, from time to time, might also get a slight Photoshop treatment if needed.”
