Jennifer Boris

Known for her cinematic chiaroscuro black-and-white photos, Jennifer Boris always seeks to capture moments with impactful composition and emotion, creating timeless mementos for her clients. “I go into every wedding day ready to serve,” she says. “I strive to document each couple’s wedding in the way that I would want my own wedding documented—full of stories and little moments, attention to detail and beautiful imagery all tied together!”

Her goal is to artfully weave together the authentic emotion of the day, the impeccable taste of her couples, the legacy of two families as they become one and the defining “can’t replicate it if I tried” moments that give her photographs their signature look. Over her nearly five-year tenure as a full-time photographer, Boris notes that, in the last year, she has learned to take more risks rather than just opting for a usual safe shot. She adds, “I’ve been leaning more into bold light and playing with it instead of seeking out even light all the time.”
