Janine Licare

Janine Licare says that as a wedding photographer, finding your color palette is very important. “True color is beautiful as it is and my editing is light and natural; colors should be authentic and celebrated, not muted or overly saturated.” Licare also strives to match her digital images as closely to her film ones as possible. “When I receive my film scans back,” she says, “it helps me remember exactly what that moment actually looked like. I use those colors and that light to edit the wedding day. I try to capture the world as it is and match colors and mood as closely to how it was at the time the image was taken.”
