Adriana Rivera Miranda says the best compliment she can get from a client is that her images transport them back to their wedding day. Inspired by human connection and the “idea of love” in her work, she looks to capture “the in-betweens, the micro connections between people…the moments of humanity and magic” that occur “when people are most vulnerable and real.”

Rivera, who splits her time between El Salvardor and Miami, Florida, says she wants her photographs “to be as true to the mood and atmosphere of the day as possible.” Simple, consistent image editing in post—inspired by her background in fashion editorial photography and interest in minimalism and design—helps “amplify what’s really going on: feelings, gestures, testimonies.”
