One day after this couple’s wedding, they worked with photographer Anni Deutsch of Anni Style Photography to produce a special post-wedding session in the blue twilight at a lake near Frankfurt, Germany. Of the setting, Deutsch says, “The sun had already gone down and the sky turned a beautiful blue. The moon was out too, but the sky was still bright.”

She and the couple hiked up a hill and through some brush to a high point around the lake. It wasn’t all that easy for the bride in her dress, but it was worth it, Deutsch says. “I just love the naturalness in this picture. A real laugh, a real gesture, a real emotion—all mixed with the wonderful light. It was perfect for me.”
