Newlyweds Susanne and Frank have a common passion: vintage cars. So for their wedding in Hochheim-Massenheim, Germany, photographer Carolin Rieger of Pic Fabrik knew she wanted to incorporate the couple’s old Ford Mustang into the photo shoot.

To set up this shot, Rieger arranged it into layers: the Mustang in the front, the couple in the middle and the beautiful golden landscape in the background. “I like that it looks so uncommon,” Rieger says. “Especially the combination of depth of field, the backlight with the awesome golden hour, the wide location and the tiny size of the couple framed in the car in the front. It breaks up the usual viewing habits.”
