When Vanessa, of the duo Vanessa & Johnny, photographed couple Sharon and Jacobo’s Latin Jewish wedding, she says it was very different than anything she has every covered.

“This is what I love about living in South Florida,” she explains. “We are such a melting pot, and it makes every wedding so unique.”

“We captured their surprise proposal, their civil wedding, and this was their big Jewish wedding,” she continues. “I only used the ambient lighting in this one. The couple jumped on stage to dance and I quickly snapped this photo.

“It’s unreal to me how it feels like they are the only ones in the room. I also love how the lighting created a halo around her.”
