This bride couldn’t contain her laughter during the father-of-the-bride speech at her Calgary, Canada-based wedding. “He was so funny that even I was laughing behind my camera,” says photographer Lisa Patey of Mint Photography.

And while this particular frame catches the bride during a peak moment of hilarity, Patey says her favorite part of the frame is how it captures the true nature of her subjects. “The bride is very outgoing and always laughing and joking around, and the groom is more reserved,” she explains. “It totally captures both of their personalities.”
