This month, our Photo of the Day series will be taken over by Rangefinder‘s 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography of 2018. The honorees can be found in our freshly published November issue, as well as in our full online gallery, which shows each of their submissions. For more behind-the-scenes insights on how they created some of their shots, follow us on Instagram, where the Rising Stars will be taking over @rfwppi all month long.

When we started this business, we wanted to capture emotions and moments of joy. Through the years of catching moments, we figured out that we are happiest when we capture moments after the ceremony. All of the emotions that were bottled up in newlyweds and their guests start to flow. We feel almost the same excitement as our newlyweds. Moments like that require patience and concentration. Your focus should be entirely on the newlyweds as you just let everything else make its own way into the frame.

This photo was made this year in Budapest. This was the city that has brought us only beautiful moments and the best memories. Beside our home region ambiance, Budapest inspires us the most. This emotional photo was the product of love toward that city and our job. You can make good photos everywhere, just beside you or a few hours away.

(Shot on a Nikon D610 and Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art lens at f/2.2, 1/1600 of a sec. and ISO 200.)
