Photos of the Week
As a destination wedding duo based in Singapore, Kenny and Daniel of Wanderlust Dream are keenly aware of the Asian market’s more traditional wedding shoots that many couples expect to do—what the photographers call “still and posey wedding photos. It may look great, but it doesn’t bring out any emotion and meaningful moments.”
With this couple, they proposed a more documentary approach, and a more adventurous wedding overall. The couple eloped to Vietnam, and the photo duo flew with them to photograph the journey.

Kenny and Daniel planned out the whole trip from the moment they touched down in Vietnam (that’s dedication—a required attribute for any adventure elopement photographer). Starting with a visit to the desert to decompress, “run freely and embrace nature,” the two say, the trip was followed by a visit to a tucked away spot in Vietnam where the couple wrote their vows.
“The whole session was so heartwarming and touching as both of them were confessing how much they have been through in their whole relationship,” say the photographers, who also served as the couple’s witnesses. “It is a very meaningful and unforgettable memory that we want to create for each of our couples. And hopefully we can bring this message out to asian couples as well!”
