Photos of the Week
This couple had a sizable Champagne tower put together during their reception at the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver. Once they were ready to break out the bubbly, they had to spend a few minutes pouring bottles, building up anticipation before actually grabbing the glasses to drink, notes photographer Justine Boulin.
The sunlight was rather harsh at this particular moment, so Boulin had to figure out how to avoid too much glare and shadow. She found a spot where the sun was hitting the glasses nicely, lighting up both the tower and the bride. “I love how the Champage is all lit up and the bride’s expression as she grabs her very full glass and some spills,” Boulin says. “The whole series of photos is really fun, but this one is my favorite.”
