Dallas, Texas-based family photographer Jessi Ingram of Jessi Marie Photography almost didn’t capture this photo of a client carrying his adorable young daughter, mainly because she typically doesn’t take pictures in such harsh light, but, Ingram says, “something about that cute smile and the connection we had just motivated me to pull out my camera.”

They were all en route to a portrait location in Tandy Hills Natural Area in nearby Fort Worth. “We were walking to the next spot to do another set and I just snapped it. Completely candid,” she says. And how could she not? “I just love that sweet look.”
