First featured in MunaLuchi Bride, this styled shoot by Texas photographer Teshorn Jackson was taken at about 1:30 p.m. in Bermuda using gorgeous natural light. “I used the sun to light Rochelle’s face and get the rich colors of the sky and ocean in the background,” Jackson explains. “We shot in Sandy Mount, which is one of the island’s newest luxury vacation and events rental properties, and it was just stunning.”

In town on a MunaLuchi Coterie Retreat, Jackson collaborated on this shoot with Yemi Kosibah Osunkoya (who did the bridal wear design), Deshawna Briscoe of Stephanotis Bridal Hairstyling, makeup artist Candice Hardy and planner Yolanda Furbert of To Have and to Hold Bermuda.

Jackson was keen on shooting in Bermuda because the location alone was enough to inspire her. “It has structure and lots of blues from the sky and ocean surrounding it,” she says. “Yemi chose three dresses for us to shoot and strategically placed the model in scenes that complimented each dress.”
