Wedding and portrait photographer Keith Cephus says that for this compelling image, which he has titled “Colorless,” he was inspired by legendary photo artist and WPPI multi-award winner Erich Caparas. “I wanted to create an image that incorporated racial solidarity, and Fanny and Amanda represent Congo and Puerto Rico respectively, two areas on the globe that have dealt with tremendous oppression and political unrest. This image was designed to bring peace and love on so many levels.”
