Adobe has just announced that the Adobe MAX 2022 conference will be held in person this year, from October 18-20 in Los Angeles. Like many expos and conferences over the past two years, there will also be a virtual component.
Each year, Adobe holds its Adobe MAX event to highlight new Adobe software releases for creatives across several industries, including photography. The 2022 conference will mark the first in-person one since 2019. The global conference typically features hundreds of sessions and offers attendees a “uniquely immersive and engaging digital experience,” according to the company. The 2021 conference was a free online event and featured an array of on-demand content, with more than 400 sessions, labs, keynotes, and a sneak peek at things being worked on in Adobe labs.

If you’ve never been (or accessed the on-demand options from last year), the company notes that there are typically courses for the “passionate photographer, that can help push your perspective and take your art to the next level.” Sessions in last year’s track, still available this year on-demand, include everything from advanced techniques for Lightroom Classic to the ins and outs of using presets in Lightroom to photo editing with selective adjustments, getting started with compositing and more.
