The Pentax K-1 Mark II features the same 36-megapixel full-frame sensor with no anti-aliasing (AA) filter as its predecessor, but the sensor now features a new accelerator unit that works with the updated PRIME IV image processor to deliver high-resolution images with minimal noise up to ISO 819,200, according to Pentax. The K-1 Mark II is weather-sealed and dust-proof with a unique, tilting 3.2-inch LCD display. It has a five-axis internal image stabilization system good for up to five stops of correction.

Tamron 70-210mm f/4 Di VC USD
Tamron’s latest full-frame lens for Canon and Nikon DSLRs gets you a number of portrait-friendly focal lengths in one lens. It can focus on objects as close as 37.4 inches with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3.1. That’s the highest in its class, according to Tamron. The lens maintains a constant f/4 aperture throughout the zoom range and features an internal zoom mechanism. A pair of Micro Processing units drive autofocusing and help with vibration compensation, which is good for up to four stops, per CIPA standards. The lens is weather-resistant and features fluorine coating on the front element to make the lens easier to clean.

Canon EOS Rebel T7
Armed with a 24-megapixel CMOS sensor, the Rebel T7 has a native ISO range of 100 to 6400 (expandable to 12,800) and a 9-point AF system. You’ll record full HD videos at 30p and access continuous shooting up to 3 fps until the card is full (of JPEGs). There’s a 3-inch display, a selection of creative filters (fisheye, miniature effect, etc.) plus Wi-Fi and NFC for wireless remote control and image transfers.

Tokina Opera 50mm
Tokina’s new Opera series lenses have been built to cope with today’s pixel-packing DSLRs. The first model is a 50mm f/1.4 for full-frame cameras. It features a ring-shaped ultrasonic motor for speedy autofocusing and is weather-sealed. The Nikon version of the 50mm will be Tokina’s first to feature an electric diaphragm for more consistent exposure, especially during continuous shooting.

The 25mm wide-angle prime lens has a focus ring that can be rotated 172 degrees for tightly dialing in your manual focusing (the Milvus line lenses are all manual focus). The lens is built to resolve 6K and above video, and the Nikon edition can have its aperture de-clicked for smooth exposure control during filmmaking. The exterior is dust- and weather-sealed. Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4E TC1.4 FL ED VR
Nikon’s latest telephoto zoom may not roll off the tongue, but it will get you right on top of distant action. The 180-400mm maintains a constant f/4 aperture as you zoom and is the first NIKKOR lens with a built-in 1.4x teleconverter, which lets you push the focal length to 252-560mm. All you need to do to engage the teleconverter is flip a switch. When the teleconverter is engaged, the aperture narrows to f/5.6.
