Couple Karmen and Nick brought their family and friends all the way from South Africa to an idyllic villa in the Tuscan countryside of Italy for the wedding of a lifetime, according to photographer Magdalena Glowacka of Fotomagoria in Tuscany.

“Villa Pozzolo is run by an incredibly warm family that served us traditional Italian cuisine in a setting straight off a postcard,” says Glowacka. “There were stunning hills and vineyards surrounding us from every direction. I loved photographing all of the wedding details among the frescoes and historical heritage.”

Glowacka says it was such an inspiring Inspiring place, full of gorgeous art and flowers, and everyone was so friendly. “I just couldn’t stop taking images.”

Glowacka especially loved the bride’s dress and eye for style. “She works in the wedding industry herself and has wonderful taste. Her ‘not white’ dress had gorgeous shades of purple, pink and nude with scattered flowers and a dreamy train.”

Says Glowacka: “It was truly  the most intimate and romantic wedding I have ever photographed. Karmen and Nick cried a ton of tears during the First Look in the backyard of the villa.”

Then, during the ceremony, Glowacka says no one expected Nick to kneel down and propose to Karmen for the second time with another ring. “Even officiant was crying,” she recalls.

“For the rest of day guests were drinking prosecco, eating great Italian food, including homemade tiramisu, rabbits jumped behind the tables and butterflies flew above us,” says Glowacka.
