It can take a while for wedding clients to warm up to the idea of being followed all day by a photographer. But when they do, creatives can work wonders with their cameras. That’s what happened during this wedding in southern Croatia.

“I took this photo toward the end of the wedding when the couple was most relaxed and completely accustomed to my presence,” says shooter Saša Tomić. For this frame, he got his lens very close to the couple during an intimate moment. “I wanted to focus on their raw emotion,” he says. With the close-up framing and perfect moment in sync, Tomić says it only took a bit of light and black-and-white editing to “make this moment even more powerful.”
