Dani Rodriguez attributes his eye for emotion to his upbringing in Spain. “I am always trying to let the emotions flow,” he says. Rodriguez plays music while he’s taking portraits and asks his couples to surprise one another with a love letter. With a moodier, quieter look, his photos are often underexposed so that he can simplify the frames and focus more deeply on feelings. While his approach and vision seem perfectly suited for weddings, Rodriguez began shooting events and portraits three years ago before switching. “I love what I do and I have never been so satisfied with my photography,” he says.
