Edu Hernández

Edu Hernández studied accounting before joining the photo world. Trading facts and figures for spontaneity and emotion was a good call in his book. “I really love my job,” he says, “and I always go as far as I can to get the perfect picture for my couples,” many of whom he now calls friends. A Nikon photographer who dabbles in both digital and film, Hernández aims for a consistent look and style amid the chaos; he uses his own preset when he’s editing, holding onto the colors from the day and mid-moment blurs. He hardly crops, preferring to get the frame right in camera.
