When bride Rio and groom Russel tied the knot at the Cap Rocat hotel in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, photographer Roberto Panciatici was enamored by the magical location. “This is like a dream,” the Berlin-based Italian photographer wrote on his blog. “This place is situated in a former fortress overlooking the Bay of Palma, and it is just breathtaking.” (He loved the spot so much that he did a separate portrait session with the couple.)

Panciatici, a 2017 Rf 30 Rising Star, says the only challenge he really faced in this “paradise on earth” location was the weather. “In Palma it is usually very difficult to have rainy days, but during this wedding, it was raining all the time,” he recalls. “That’s why the ceremony was held inside. But Rio and Russel faced the weather conditions in the most relaxed way possible, and we were blessed with awesome light after the storm.”
