“This photo is simply a result of observation,” suggests the modest Elicia Bryan, a wedding photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia, and Asheville, North Carolina. “We were walking to the next photo location when I saw the way the light and shadows were dancing together on the bushes ahead. I didn’t ask her to do anything differently and just waited for her to walk between the bushes. She didn’t know I was taking this photo, which is how I was able to capture the natural movement in her body language.”
