Favoring both photography and videography, this Midwestern artist says almost half of his bookings are for his wedding films. “Growing up as a young boy in suburbia, I lived vicariously through National Geographic and fantasy films,” says David Matthew Fiser, “and this ‘dreamer’ mind of mine has been the greatest influence on the way I see relationships, neighborhoods, communities and our world.” And while his imagination may be based in fantasy and film, Fiser’s work has a real authenticity to it with only light post-processing. It’s the hours of time he spends sharing meals, drinks, coffee and simple conversation with every couple beforehand that creates an emotional connection and unique captures.
