Former architects Ryan and Heidi Browne shoot a lot of aerials and work with both still and video, all of which factors into how they approach weddings. “We are constantly critiquing, iterating, questioning… This open dialogue has been at that core of our growth as artists,” Ryan says. “Our inspiration is generated by so many things, and affects us in such a meaningful way. We try not to let anything of visual excellence go unnoticed, whether it’s the way a film director sequenced a series of shots in a movie or how an architect crafted a beautifully lit entrance to a skyscraper, or the way a furniture designer organized the structure of a chair to create a strong spatial composition. For us, every exploration of other art forms is remembered and applied in some way.”
